Campus Culture

BBSA members are encouraged to explore the multifaceted UCLA campus community and promote Bruin spirit through access to unique opportunities such as volunteering in the Press Box and at the Chancellor’s Game Day Party at the Rose Bowl, attending renowned culture and arts events, and decorating locker rooms in support of NCAA athletes.

The office also organizes the annual P.L.A.Y. Day with the Boys and Girls Club of East Los Angeles and UCLA Athletics. This Belles tradition brings an average of 50 children to the UCLA campus for a day of fun and games with Bruin Athletes. The UCLA Athletes encourage the children to keep active, be fit, and stay in school. The athletes come from an array of UCLA teams, including football, volleyball, soccer, and women's gymnastics. Each year we receive positive feedback from the Boy and Girls Club of East Los Angeles, hearing that the children benefit greatly from this type of interaction with the student athletes.  On top of that, it's one of the most fun and rewarding experiences of Bruin Belles.
