Psychobiology major from Hinsdale, IL Our beach retreat! It was so much fun getting to chat and catch up with Belles after a summer away from campus!
Major: Physiological Science Hometown: Riverside, CA Favorite Belles Memory: Helping plan and organize the Beyond the Belles Talent Show the past two years! We brought together talent groups from UCLA and local schools and fundraised money to support after school enrichment programs. Seeing our committee work hard to put on this event and feeling the excitement of all the performance groups when showcasing their talents really showed me how impactful Bruin Belles is throughout the community!

International Development Studies Northridge, CA Gosh, I have so many fond memories from BBSA, but I would say P.L.A.Y Day 2022 is by far my favorite. I have always had a heart for kids, and spending a day with children from the Boys and Girls Club truly marked one of the best days here at UCLA. From freeze tag to tug of war, I was able to learn more about kids, their strengths, their interests, their passions...their future goals. I am grateful to BBSA for allowing me for such an experience.
Major: Data Theory Hometown: Walnut Creek, CA Favorite Belles Memory: The first fall retreat as a baby belle is my favorite memory! I will never forget the excitement of being accepted and meeting other belles for the first time.
Major: Biology Hometown: Federal Way, WA Favorite Belles Memory: PLAY Day 2022! As an out of state student, opportunities to work with people in the LA area that has become my new community is so fulfilling and inspiring. Adding in the fact that we spent the day playing games with kids, PLAY Day couldn’t get any better!
Major: English and Geography/Environmental Studies Hometown: Chula Vista, CA Favorite Belles Memory: the LA Times Festival of Books! I got to hang out and bond with my fellow Belles while helping out at this cool event!!
Major: Public Affairs Hometown: Rowland Heights, CA Favorite Belles Memory: My favorite Belles memory is when we went to Disneyland! That's when I started to really get to know and bond with other Belles. I got to see how each Belle was unique in their passions, but similar in their hearts to serve others. I felt the Belle love and the Disney magic at the same time!
Major: Human Biology and Society Hometown: Dallas, TX Favorite Belles Memory: My favorite Belles memory is probably Women's Leadership Conference! I loved hearing the speakers share their stories, and being part of the planning committee was such a great experience!
Major: International Development Studies & Sociology, Minor: Professional Writing Hometown: Nashville, TN Favorite Belles Memory: (One of) my favorite belles memories was going to the Hollywood Film Awards as a seat filler freshmen year! Not only did I get to have a conversation with many stars (Anne Hathaway!), I bonded with different belles <3. At this event, I met a fellow belle and now one of my best friends, Ambika. It will forever be an amazing day between talking nonstop in line together
Major: Computational and Systems Biology, Neuroscience Minor Hometown: Norman, Oklahoma Favorite Belle Memory: Too many to choose only one! One of my favorite Belle's memories was at a documentary night to watch Period. End of Sentence. This documentary inspired a deep and personal discussion on reproductive health and access around the globe. It was great being able to have a comfortable space to share all perspectives and experiences on topics relevant to all of us. I think there is a lot of
